When Wagner came into the world it was very different from when he left it, and he was one of the men who made the changes. Such people are very disturbing. They often create trouble, we can't sleep when they're around. If the art galleries of the future are to be crowded with spectators it will depend wholly on the students. If there had been no such disturbers as Wagner, auditoriums would not now be filled with listeners.

Well... we're back. Facebook statuses, text messages, Twitter updates show that we're all back and were up rather early this morning because 7am here is noon in Ghana. One of the first things I did was hang my NYU in Ghana strip of kente on my wall right by my bed.
Now, we all start the process of integrating what we've learned. Sharing and spreading ideas. There's an idea that's common in Africa that one person's education doesn't belong to them. (it's a collectivist society.) But if someone from a village leaves and receives an education, they are then meant to return and share the benefits of that education with the village. I agree with this philosophy. Anything I've learned is not just for me. What good is it if it's just for me? The question now becomes about how we communicate all that we've learned. And that's going to be a very interesting process to go through.
