We finished striking the show by 9pm tonight. The responses we've gotten have been beyond anything I'd dreamed. I have never heard the word "specificity" used more in my life. (Luckily in a good way!) Now I get to start the process of getting tons and tons of feedback. (Which I am seeking out. Like crazy. I'm having meetings with my directing teachers from the first two years. And pretty much the entire voice and speech faculty. Duh. As well as anyone else willing.)
Lots to say. Going to go re-read Tennessee Williams' essay on success. That seems appropriate.
I'm thrilled to see the photos. I had no concept of how the fabric could be so compelling.
